Konsido ESG gives you a complete overview of your organisation's climate footprint across Scope 1, 2 and 3. The system is based on the same Konsido1000-categorised consumption data as SPEND, enriches it with CO2 factors, and provides interactive climate accounts that show exactly where the emissions come from.
With ESG, you get answers to critical climate questions: How much is our total CO2 emissions? Which categories contribute the most? Which departments have the largest climate footprint? And where can we reduce most effectively? The analyses cut across Scope, categories, organisational units and time.
Konsido ESG is based on the Environmental Input-Output method, which is internationally recognised for Scope 3 calculations. The method takes the organisation's external consumption as itsng point, distributes it across Konsido1000 categories, and applies CO2 factors based on price-adjusted monetary consumption. Three-level calculation hierarchy. Konsido ESG uses product-specific emissions where available, unit-based emissions where possible, and spend-based emissions as a foundation. This step-by-step approach ensures the highest possible accuracy in calculations, regardless of data quality.
The potential database links each Konsido1000 category to CO2 factors on both a unit and spend basis and supplements this with a wide range of sustainability parameters – from data on packaging waste and biodiversity to animal welfare. A supplementary database also contains product-specific emissions from selected suppliers and is continuously updated in collaboration with partners and customers.
Supplement with your own data. You can upload your own CO2 calculations, meter readings or LCA data directly to Konsido ESG. Data can either supplement or replace spend-based calculations – e.g. for specific products, electricity, heating, water or employee commuting. Full control, full flexibility.
Konsido ESG is delivered as interactive climate accounts in PowerBI-format with full access to the data behind the figures. Drill down from total Scope 1+2+3 emissions to individual invoice lines or supplementary data reports. Filter by period, category, department or supplier. Export data to ESG reports.
The standard reports cover Scope 1, 2 and 3 statements, hotspot analyses, trend analyses and scenario calculations. The reports show both spend-based, unit-based and product-specific emissions, so you can see exactly which calculation method is behind the figures.
Data is updated continuously along with your consumption data – quarterly, monthly or weekly. CO2 factors are updated when new knowledge becomes available. And because KLIMA is based on the same data quality as SPEND, you know that the figures are accurate. Konsido ESG is ready for both voluntary reporting and upcoming legal requirements.
